- First seen early on in the season, Amanda is simply portrayed as one of Buffy's (slightly quirky!) student's. She later is revealed to be a Potential Slayer through Willow's locator spell, and joins the Scooby Gang's ranks as a vital and strong member. Unfortunately, she was only a true Slayer for a matter of minutes before being killed by a Turok-Han.

- Poor Annabelle was one of the first three Potentials to arrive in Sunnydale with Giles. She panicked and bolted when she realised what she was really up against, discarding her crucifix and her calling. Unfortunately, she ran straight into the Turok-Han that was chasing them and it killed her instantly.

- One of the many girls to arrive from around the world, she became a true Slayer when Willow cast her spell, and helped turn the tide against the Turok-Han before escaping on the bus with the remaining Slayers and Scoobies.

- The hilarious Chao-Ahn was one of the first dozen of so girls to arrive in Sunnydale, and couldn't speak a word of English, so Giles tried explain her calling through rather graphic flashcards. Once she came out of hiding from the bathroom, she tended to comment on events in fabulous sub-titles and was a fierce fighter.

- Poor Chloe was another girl very unsure of her calling, and was both despondent and shy. Kennedy thought it would be a good idea to call her a 'maggot' during one of their training sessions she was taking. Chloe then received a visit from The First and thought it would be a good idea to hang herself. Nice going Kennedy.

Status: Deranged, but alive
- Dana was committed in a mental institution after going insane from torture and seeing her family brutally murdered. When she missed getting her meds though, she broke out and became Wolfram & Hart's problem; Angel quickly realised she was a Slayer. She went up against Spike (and mistakes herself for both Xin Rong and Nikki Wood - how cool!). Andrew, now a Watcher in training, rescues her with the help of a dozen or so more new Slayers, and takes her back to the Council to be cared for.

- Eve was murdered by the Bringers on her arrival in Sunnydale. The First was then able to take her place and infiltrate the Scooby Camp in order to undermine the girls with her talk of death and woe. Buffy unmasked her though before any real harm could be done, but it did illustrate the side's vulnerability.

- Rich B*tch Kennedy showed up with Molly and Annabelle (who both died - why'd we get left with Kennedy?!) and Giles. This Mary-Sue type creature had the audacity to try and replace Tara as Willow's girlfriend and felt she had some superior status over the other girls just coz she got there first. Huh. She helped perform the Scythe Spell and then fought in the battle against the Turok-Han.
Sorry if you like Kennedy - I've got nothing against the actress at all, in fact she's rather nice. I just can't stand teacher's pets :-) She is the only character in the whole history of Buffy I've disliked though.

- Molly was one of the first three Potentials to arrive in Sunnydale with Giles, and had a preference for fluffy clothes :-) Sadly, she was killed by Caleb when Buffy led the girls into the vineyard.

- Giles discovered Nora dead in her home with her watcher badly injured beside her. Just as Giles was tending to his friend, a Bringer attacked him; he only narrowly (and largely by chance) escaped.

- A kick-ass Potential who always spoke her mind. She made it through the final battle with only a broken arm to become a true Slayer.

First Seen: BtVS, Season Seven, "Dirty Girls" - 7.18

- Poor Shannon, whilst running from the Bringers, had the misfortune to run into Caleb on his way into Sunnydale. Luckily though, he needed her to relay a message, so stabbed her in the gut and dumped her on the road, where Willow and Faith found her and took her to hospital. She did not fight in the final Battle and therefore survived to become a true Slayer.

- Vi was always portrayed as being a timid little thing, very reluctant to accept her calling and often to be found squealing in the face of danger. Once a true Slayer though, in the heat of battle, she became ferocious, brave and determined. She survived the fight against the First and the Turok-Han, and will no doubt go on to become a great Slayer.

- Officially the best opening of all the Buffy Seasons (except for perhaps the very first, with Darla :-) This unknown girl is seen running desperately across the rooftops of Istanbul, being perused by the Bringers. She puts up a brave fight, but is eventually overcome and killed.

- A feisty German girl is seen running through the backdoors of a night club, being pursued by the Bringers. She thinks she has managed to escape, but is the cornered by the minions and stabbed. As she dies, she sends a message to the current Slayer, Buffy, who is dreaming of her death; "From beneath you, it devours."
